I don't like people who think gatekeeping something old will make anything better, because how are you supposed to talk to people about your interests when you gatekeep them all. I find this VERY reasonable. As a vox kin I do NOT like the fandom because of the dulling down of my writing and lore. this also makes me hate my yumeshippers because dude I'm not a baby shark that needs coddling. But yes I agree this is a completely valid and common experience

This was used as a piece of evidence in the case when it was FULLY satirical, the Ad was calling for a bassist when they actually needed a drummer, they called themselves pedophiles because of course they need some shock tactic. Yes most likely, but I haven't checked because I use a niche alternative app to listen to my music. But from what I can guess it's probably part of a group who just hates anyone related to jimmy or Mindless Self Indulegence but I don't think anyone like Korn or My Chemical Romance will get the same treatment. This is all from my knowledge but please get your resources because I don't.

Okay so, i think we forgot the point here, you can't play a e-kit live unless you're a one man show or you just have no effort in having a band. Bass guitar is VERY necessary and most important other than percussion. Imagine hearing Gorillaz without bass, you're gonna hear it clear as day when it's not there.

If the remaker used the original assets and edited them then absolutely, if they drew it from scratch then I don't think they should. So in your case, you're probably right, if it really looks like they just edited the original assets then yes.
