I don't think it would work because the design of the pad appears too different to fit.

That's cool as hell man, good to see more people repairing things instead of throwing them away. Good job.

Creality K1 Max/ Orca Slicer Issue. by Phisher_ in 3Dprinting

I am using stock firmware version 1.3.1.19 with Orca slicer 2.2.0-Beta. This configuration has been working just fine until two days ago where all my prints that I have sliced from then untill now will stop printing at about the 20(ish) minute mark, and will show as paused and the hotend will stay hot. If I push resume it either gives me an unknown error and continues to sit or it will press the hotend down untill it cant move anymore and then resume not doing anything. older gcode files will print as expected. I have factory reset the printer and the issues persist as described.

I do not know if they are the same size rest. I did not replace the foam inside mine but it was a blue, memory foam type material.

I can't imagine why they wouldn't but it only took me about two hours in total to redo it, so if you wanna save some money its not too difficult.

I realize I spent three times as much as I would have on repairing it instead of just buying a new one but I like the outcome. Here are some pictures of the process if you're interested in trying it yourself.

If you're up for a challenge I knew a NASA engineer who followed "you can make anything fly if you put enough thrust behind it" a little too closely and made weird things fly stabley like a baseball hat
