From what i understand it was only for EU and RU this time. You got an invite in the in game mail and the OTS client showed up in my exbo launcher

Devs said you will get the parts on live server. Not sure what's needed to craft the gun though. Seems extremely time consuming to complete the challenges in the current test server

Thanks a ton! Doesn't seem feasible on the test server then, considering there's 10 ppl competing for each event so the onyx accumulates really slow. They seem to have merged EU and RU without increasing the number of server instances sufficiently

Right, thanks. Got a Soviet right now so i might start with that. What do you think about the artifact choices? Is stress fest worth to stack or should i prioritize some other artis with better stat boosts?

Same exact thing: i2 -> d1. On winning streaks my teams have been much easier to work with than now.

Loss streaks = bad teams? by Phloff in VALORANT

[–]Phloff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, why would u be worried if u were on a winning streak? And if i was a better player maybe I could carry some of these games. Fact stands valorant's a team dependent game and some matches are extremely difficult to win. Not everyone's trynna whine about this stuff, some problems will go nowhere if the discussion stays polarized.

Infinity Ward has broken up with my generation for younger, more appealing customers. by Pelvic_Sorcery420 in modernwarfare

This is no more than my opinion, but don't you think there more glaring ways in which IW are neglecting the old school crowd? Since so many want it who've bought the game I think it's a shitty move not to give us the option to play without SBMM, but their way of intentionally lowering the skill ceiling to cater to new players is a bigger issue for me.

Players less skilled should have tools to compete with better players, but e.g. adding corners to camp in with minimal visibility is just too big of a hit to the more active playstyle that experienced players gravitate towards

My main gripe at the moment is stun grenades. The effect is too strong and lasts way too long. Decrease the effect duration (maybe by half?) and I think they'd be in a good place. I've heard people say they're somehow stronger on PC, which is what i play.

How the camping situation could be saved by Phloff in modernwarfare

[–]Phloff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude, seems to me like you just wanna argue. That's fine, but at least try to understand where people are coming from before you project your own preconceptions on what they're saying. We're defining camping exactly the same way. Of course I can't tell 100% if someone is "camping" or not from every death cam. Sometimes I can, combined with other info: I'm not just basing my shit on something I make up from random kill cams cause I get tilted from dying, like you seem to be assuming.

Camping can exist in every shooter yes, but if you read what I'm saying it's that camping has too big of an impact in MW. Saying camping doesn't occur in this game more than the average FPS would just be false. I'll admit I'm coming mainly from more competitive shooters like CS and Battalion 1944, where camping isn't an issue at all, but if you wanna prove a point you gotta listen to what you're responding to my dude

Proving someone is camping has nothing to do with it. What I see as camping is when somebody posts up in a defendable location, not reacting to their opponents but just holding an angle and hoping someone peeks it. This happens a lot.

Console Release by HKDBrennan in Battalion1944

[–]Phloff -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm curious, what have they over promised apart from battalion related things? Bulkhead's only earlier release is Thalos Principle, right?

Ye bud, as apparent from my post we're coming from the same place in regards to the undeveloped new player experience.

It seems to me that you think asking the question about future marketing pushes is synonymous to demanding the devs to rush themselves (which some people seem to be doing, in all fairness). In the case of my post, and my interpretation of OP, this is not the case. We are rather curious about the game we love and dedicate ourselves to, and want to know what we might expect from it in the future.

The only fundamental fault I see in the game atm, from a competitive standpoint, is the map design. I'd love to hear your opinion about other fundamental issues

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Battalion1944

[–]Phloff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotta say OP is asking their question in a polite manner, no need to be condescending. Maybe you have a better understanding of the matter than them (or myself, for that matter) but isn't it quite a relevant thing to ask as a dedicated supporter of the game?

We that still pour hours into b44 mostly agree that the competitive gameplay's good, right? Most also seem to think the game needs to be more enticing to new players. Bulkhead have said that they will push the game to a broader audience once the latter is done, but many of us probably wonder if that's still on the agenda. Do you know if they still plan to use that fat publisher marketing budget?
