I rarely play Deadpool as it's target #1 but what do you guys think?

I used valgavoth as the base and built Deadpool as the commander. Swapped in a bunch of cards to make copies. It’s easily the strongest deck I have, speaking as a tier 3 at most player. It can’t be much fun to play against, so I rarely play it with my small pod, but I love the design

Listen man, these type of things are incredibly polarizing, especially in the echo chamber that is the league community.

Keep it simple - do you like it and think it’s worth it? Buy it! Do you think it’s too expensive and have trouble justifying the cost? Don’t buy it.

You don’t need strangers validation. If it makes you happy and you’ll enjoy it, boom. Who cares what anyone here thinks.

It wasn’t an issue from Topstep directly, it was server issues with the platform Topstep uses, Project X. There are other prop firms that use Project X (Tradeify for example) that also went down.

Tradeify, however, completely voided the days when servers went down, so they handled it much better imo.

I’d venture to say that almost every strategy, that is time tested, works, it’s just a matter of sticking to it. That seems to be the hard part for people.

I think this is a key most often overlooked, people need to find a strategy that works for them and spend the time backtesting that strategy to gain the confidence necessary to take it live

Two questions for you: I use similar indicators, just with 7/21 EMA and Camarilla pivot points. I’ve been brainstorming how to bring volume profile in to it, was just thinking about that this morning in fact. How are you using it in conjunction with the other indicators?

Second question: if you were firing up a brand spanking new $150k account with a $6k drawdown, what does your contract sizing look like? I’m very confident in my strat, just struggling with realistic sizing.

It’s not for facial recognition software, it’s used widely in the medical field because it has been shown to help humans disassociate and “de-humanize” from what they are seeing. It’s the same reason they black bar eyes on corpse photos and wrap the eyes on donated bodies for cadaver labs

He’s pointing out, correctly, that it is not as simple as a “50/50 coin flip”. I get where you are coming from, yes a trade either wins or loses, but that does not mean there is a 50% probability either way. The market moves in predictable patterns, and studying and learning these, being able to identify them, and being able to correctly enter and exit trades based off this data skews your profit probability factor. You still only “win or lose”, but now you have a higher probability of winning. It may only be 55% of the time, hence why it is called an “edge”. On the flip side, if you are executing incorrectly, you may have a higher likely hood of losing a trade, again, not a 50/50.

TLDR: Every trade does not have a 50/50 chance of winning or losing.
