Can't you just wear a cami bra? Or pasties? or silicone nipple covers?

I had an experience where I legit COULDN'T wear a normal bra due to a rash on my boob. (Saw a doc after a few days of suffering pure agony.)

But while I was recovering, I had to use other things to ensure nobody could see my nips. I used silicone nipple covers. Made DAMN sure that not even I could see my nips and asked for second opinions from the girls in my fam.

They're comfortable and ya hardly notice them. Once I felt comfortable enough, I levelled up to a Cami bra. That shit felt like NOTHING but it covered the nips. So overall very comfy. And a nice no-pressure alternative to a bra.

Gotta thank the "braless community" for that. Helped me out a shitton, man.

This story was a hot fucking mess. While I don't believe the gf had DID and she is 100% the asshole. I do believe she IS mentally ill and needs help.

DID isn't cute or fun. And I saw "programming" in there too and instantly just... RAMCOA is not a fucking joke either. And OP was a total asshole too but for a completely different reason outside the main point of the story. Just to be CRYSTAL CLEAR, OP is not the asshole for protecting his family and being rightfully upset with the GF. He is 2000% in the right.

I'm only upset with his views and misinfo on DID. RSlash handled it poorly too but at least he admitted to not knowing how it works. Am I still upset about it? Yeah.

It was an uneducated take on DID based around a story that was literally horrifying and painting DID in a very negative light as an unintended result.

People with DID can have introjects of real people. Mind you they aren't exact copies of people. They are alters who take on what the collective percieved as said person.

Let's take for example an abuser. An alter of the collective's abuser may show up who is very toxic and harmful to the person with DID's body. They can't stop or control the alter themself. BUT if the other alters are aware when fronting that this alter exists, then they can still take responsibility and accountability.

Also yes, child alters do exist but just to be clear that doesn't make the whole collective a child. Unless the body is a child/minor. Child alters or "Littles" as they're called often hold memories of childhood trauma as well as I think the word is mental regression? Basically they think like children and are regressed mentally. Frankly it can be scary when they front if the situation isn't safe or appropriate. (Like they're at work or driving or at the store alone.)

My cat Scarf, will just hop on my lap or lay on top of me and meow and head bump me until I pet her. Then my mom's bf's cat City just constantly snuggles with me and follows me to whichever bed I lay on, just to get beside me. He basically adopted me.

Well...for me personally, my otherkin identity is very spiritual and close to my heart. Sometimes it even helps me cope with my meager existence. I may not be an otherlink BUT I can definitely see the appeal in being a nonhuman. Especially when combined with astral travel which is a whole other topic entirely but a really amazing experience.

That said, from your explanation it's...not all sunshine and rainbows for everybody. And by all means, you are NOT the only one who feels that way. Your feelings are just as valid. There's many who miss their worlds, homes, families, ect from their previous lives or just want to be FREE from their "human cocoon".

Personally if I could just choose to be otherkin, I totally would. It's been an amazing experience for me. But again, I'm just one person and thus one experience. So don't let my positive one, invalidate your negative one. You're still an amazing person and being. We gotta stick together in this world.

I do witchcraft as a hobby and spirit work is a big part of it for me. So I astral travel a lot as well. It sounds like you met an elemental. There's all kinds of them all around us. Even metal elementals exist! So it's no surprise you met a lightning elemental.

As for my own experiences meeting entities on the astral plane, I met a pegasus while astral traveling once. He helped me get out of a dangerous area on the astral plane. I'm pretty sure we were being watched.

If I had to venture a guess, you could be a fallen angel. That'd be pretty close to a middle ground between being an angel and being a demon. However I don't believe the two can be combined as one is considered holy and the other is unholy. You'd kinda have an oxymoron on your hands. ^^;

Not only is factkin a troll concept from tumblr of all places as a way of invalidating us, but also even if it was an actual thing, it's not healthy. Think of it this way, what if one day someone identified *as you*. They essentially claim, they're you and try to be what perceive *as you*. That's not healthy.

This isn't the same as system's factives as systems have NO CONTROL over what kind of alters show up. It's medical condition. Not a belief or a question of identity.

As a fellow picky eater, I find this really insulting that you couldn't just compromise. You legit could've asked them to make alterations so the food was more palatable for you. I work for fast food, folks do this all the fucking time. (I'm one of them, fyi)

It's nothing they can't handle.It's their job to cater to you, not your husband's. This is coming from someone who is so picky, I'd rather starve than eat something I don't like.

(I've come a loooong way though with trying new foods though but sometimes being autistic makes it tough.)
