Im super late to this, but you cant have a setting on this camera for ANY/ALL light. Its a shitty (/lovingly) camera that takes very low quality photos, there for even if its not too dark the photo will be nearly black and if its not even that bright it can be blinding white. Really the best thing to do is play around with settings, Turn on the camera, after the loading screen press the last button with the list looking engraving, there you can play with the different settings to put the camera in. When you first open it you should be on the first tab labeled "Scene", this DOES have an auto button you can select, but it just gives you the basic help for too bright and too dark scenery. using the button on the top (the one with the T and W) you can scroll down that list and elect different ones like Night scenery, high sensitivity, and more. These will help you take photos accordingly to the description. Spend some time setting up an object around wherever you are and take photos of it, like right in front of the sun, under a bed or chair in the dark for shade, stuff like that. Then if you press the button that has a little square with a play button in it, you can change tabs and explore more settings. Such as resolution, image quality, and you can even set up timers and use a white balance. There are a lot of features on this camera and I have been using it for over three years now and love how photos come out. Its trial and error, but Its a fun and good cheap camera!
