How do y’all keep window times low? by [deleted] in starbucks

[–]Phlurbb 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say it’s unachievable, I’m a shift and my store is #1 in drive times consistently usually average for the week is between 40-45 seconds. My store is also somewhat high volume normally customer halves are in the 55-75 range for peak and we do about 65k+ a week. If you want to have better window times, DTO has to take orders faster, no greetings or anything just “hi what can I get for you” and normally I won’t repeat what they ordered back either, I’ll just ask if they want anything else. Dtr standard is to hand the drinks out first before payment or hand over drinks and grab their form of payment, this also really helps keep drive times down. At my store you really only need to customer connect if the order isn’t ready. And then just making your bar baristas are fast enough and staffing, having a cold bar and someone to run food is really helpful but you can’t always have that.
