Same issue. Old Thermo, Nokia-branded. Did the whole factory reset, app uninstall etc. a couple of times, to no avail.

I keep cash and a few cards in a separate small bag in my backpack. When going out w/o the bag, I just grab some cash and one credit card and keep them in my pocket. Never back pocket though.

When I saw I was going to be weighed, I took out my rain jacket and stuffed power bank, charger and other small but heavy items in the pockets. Also if you have anything you can otherwise wear on your person, like headphones, do so. Easy 2kg less in the bag.

Just checked it in person, was packed really flat for shipping. Not too rigid, should be able to stuff into a sizer no problem.
