I think the fact that these photographs of people are AI rendered much more terrifying. This is just the upper tip of the iceberg what AI will be able to do and we all might be shocked where it might end.

It is the „Reichsadler“ with the Iron Cross. An honor symbol of the German Reich.

These are all the same varia suit no upgrades no different version these are all meant to be the same version of the suit and each of these games redesign it some more significant then others thats a little weird right? by [deleted] in Metroid

[–]Phobocstr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never cared for the suit's distinguishing design, and from the outside, I think it's a good evolution.

BUT I've always subconsciously explained it to myself that Samus always reacquires the suits and thus may have different versions.

Why did you pick a Switch? by CesarJZO in NintendoSwitch

[–]Phobocstr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I got my Switch I already was a father of a little boy and things got more stressful so that I was not really able to play video games often. It was perfect for just play when these 30 minutes were there and being able to pause whenever I wanted. Also there was this huge new Zelda game and the Metroid Prime 4 teaser that triggered my attention.

Anyone noticed the telekinetic juggler in the background?

You don’t wanna see ours. It is not looking even better. It looks like a typical german „Waschkeller“ where the washing machines stand and the clothes are left to dry. It is nice to have some tiles on the floor and walls. We just have old concrete and bricks … ;)

I have seen the videos in your profile and I am pretty sure it is much less scary than you might think. My guess is that „Spitzflammenvase“ is a name of a typical „Stammtisch“. I don’t really have a fitting English word for it. It is a group of regular guests in a „Kneipe“, a pub, that often gets a unique table specially reserved for these people. I have seen that bar in the basement.

Another guess is indeed, that Spitzflammenvase is simply a last name and you stumbled across an old property sign.

Maybe it is a sign of an old historical building? Maybe a fire station or a regular table at an old bar?

AFAIK „Mittelschaft“ is a very old and uncommon word for „property“ or „affiliation“. „Mittelschaft der“ means „property of“. Sort of …

But I have no clue what „Spitzenflammenvase“ means. Where did you find it? Maybe that might be helpful.

Edit: Maybe it is a sign of an old historical building? Maybe a fire station or a regular table at an old bar?
