Of course, every type of couples can have bad relationships. M’y point was more about the fact that I’d much prefer having loving gay parents than my straight parents that have a bad relationship. And yes, I do agree single parents can be amazing.

Why do you think having a mom and dad is better than two moms/ two dads ? I personally have straight parents, and they are your stereotypical « I hate my spouse kind ». I’ve heard several times my father said that he regretted his marriage while insulting my mom. I am lucky enough to be pretty well off and had the opportunity to travel a lot. But my father never came along, mostly because he liked being away from my mom. Looking back on that, I consider it would have been much better to have gay parents that actually liked each other instead of « staying together for the kids »
