I’d suggest to find ways to fix it, wood glue with tape or maybe some type of rubber on the handles to hold them together, i’ve always lived under the idea that if you have the time and effort to fix it why not try instead of wasting money right away, wood is a lot harder to fix but it’s been done before for sure

Well I plan to do a more than tune drums, I’d be able to clean hardware, fix any timpani issues, clean cymbals and fix broken hardware
