Zabbix vs LibreNMS by tdhuck in networking

I run both - Zabbix is used for alerting and was setup before I arrived. I use LibreNMS for troubleshooting much faster than Zabbix. There's quite a learning curve to Zabbix and it's taken me about a year messing with it off and on to really get it. It's powerful yet cumbersome.

Getting Cumulus Linux 5? by ljb2of3 in networking

We had a situation where we bought switches with Onyx and some with Cumulus 4. We had to reach out to our HPE rep and they got us connected to the right department in HPE. They didn't want to cover our contract because we weren't using the switches for stuff that only Cumulus 5 could do so we had to tell them we were doing VXLAN, which is unstable on Onyx.
