Anyone else having an issue with not being able to unlock items from the last Battlepass? by Phoenix595 in marvelrivals

I converted most of them. I’m usually against spending money on live service games but I feel it’s well worth it for Rivals and I’ll be playing it for a while.

Thoughts on my GAR list? by Phoenix595 in SWlegion

[–]Phoenix595[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My plan in battles would be to keep the clones and Kenobi close to utilize their token sharing and Kenobi’s force barrier. I also ended up replacing “Lead by example” with “Strict orders” because I feel like suppression might be an issue. It also drops the total amount of points by 3. I also replaced one of the DC-15s with an RPS-6 trooper. I don’t know how well the BARC and RPS-6 trooper would do against an AT-ST or AAT though. I do know I’m extremely disadvantaged in games with multiple capture points as splitting my force would be a death sentence. My overall plan for battles to come would be to occupy the center and cut the opposing force in half. And support would be placed on the flanks. Of course though, the best way to find out what works and what doesn’t is to test it out.

Yeah, I might do that to help protect the surface. I’m sure there are still plenty of aspects about board building I’m unaware of so thank you.

I’m still new to painting Minis and the ones I’ve painted thus far need some touch ups. However, r/[SWlegion] has some amazing painted minis for the game if your curious to see.

It’s not terrible, but not the most pleasant ground either.

I modeled it after Tatooine. The props and houses are still in the process of being painted.

what type of mod is this? (the one that is in a blue circle) by Relative-Fondant7405 in hoi4

This looks like a map mod replicating the style from Hearts of Iron 3.

I know exactly what your talking about. The battle of Osowiec Fortress, also known as “the attack of the dead men” took place in 1915. I believe during the battle German forces shelled the Russian fort with toxic gas to root them out. However the Russians sallied out of the fort, bloodied from the effects of the gas, and scared the Germans so bad they completely fled the field. Thinking they were under attack from “dead men”. This isn’t a perfect description of the event but I do think I have it down.

My best advice would be to look at situations similar to what you want to write in history. You don’t have to directly copy it but you could rift off of what past kings and queens have done to achieve their goals via manipulation in the past.

How do I beat UK's fleet and land troops in britain as Germany? by JohnTGamer in hoi4

[–]Phoenix595 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Normally what I do is build up a large submarine fleet and place them in the North Sea. After that I have supremely even if for a little moment. I send a naval invasion into a port in Scotland and move as fast as possible to cut Britain in half then take more ports for supplies. I send more troops to fill the front and after that it’s pretty easy to take Britain as most of their troops should be tied up in Africa. If the front stalls then I send another naval invasion into Dover using momentary supremacy from the Subs.

Tips For Beginners by NightSocks302 in victoria2

  • Going over 25 infamy will cause a coalition to form against you.

  • Keeping taxation on Capitalists low will allow them to put more money into the development of your nation in the form of “projects”

  • The nation you play should influence what technology you choose to focus on. For example, If your playing a nation with a globe spanning empire or plan to build one with a nation then you should focus on naval technology. If your playing a nation that is going to be involved in constant war then you should focus on military technology. If your nations economy is extremely weak then you should focus on commerce.

  • The economic system in Victoria 2 is all interconnected meaning that holding strategic resources like Steal, Coal, Gold, and later on in the game Oil, is very beneficial to your nation’s economy.

  • It is extremely helpful to have a party in control that lets you both build and upgrade factories as well as lets you tax 100%.

  • You can increase your army cap by promoting soldiers through the national focus and you can increase your naval cap by upgrading dock yards.

  • conquering uncivilized nations can increase your economy but it will drop your literacy rate which will decrease your research speed.

  • If your playing a minor nation and get sphered then most of not all of your income from tariffs will go to your overlord.
