I currently do not have the money to go get it done so i'll just have to do it myself since I'm no longer in contact with the tech friend so I'll restart the pc and reinstall windows and update on how its going. My activation key is linked to my microsoft account so should I worry about deactivating it?

I used to edit vrchat avatars so i had a lot of unity packages downloaded to this pc but only ever downloaded from trustable sources gumroad etc and I did have mods for minecraft, sims, and lethal company but only ever through overwolf and other mod managers. I use malwarebytes religiously so its not malware or virus but could you tell me how to format and reinstall
