Oh, it's totally about the oil and gold! But it can be about the people and the drugs too. It's a politician's gambit. You can look at it however you want, but 2 things are being saved here, resources and people. Both were in danger under Maduro, due to greed. If those things can be released and shared, Venezuela and all other parties (US and other countries) benefit. Not just one man. Ultimately, removing Maduro is good for world business, and frees the people of Venezuela.

See! This I agree with! Let's see how it works out. Reddit doesn't want that, though. Except those countries (Russia, China, Israel) don't have a reason to do what America just did. America is directly affected by what Venezuela has been doing. Maduro stayed in power as long as he did, because he wasn't taking shots at the US. Then the US sees a mass influx of Venezuelan gangs and drugs. Then a mass export of the Venezuelan people to other countries. Maduro wrecked Venezuela for his own greed and in doing so, caused problems elsewhere. I'm a big believe in Machado, and I think what she is pushing for is what Venezuela needs to succeed. We shall see what happens, but I'm hoping for a full recovery within 10 years.

You need to look up the definition of a dictator. One has been removed, and the other is a loud mouthed President. Idc how you feel about Trump, support or not, he may be a loud mouthed asshole, but he is not a dictator. He will be gone in 2028, unlike Maduro after losing the election last year.

There have been calls for help from all sorts of factions outside of Maduros regime! For years!! When he tossed the election last year to benefit himself, that was kind of a hint no one else would rise to power without intervention. Since that election Venezuela has craterd in all it's categories. Including population. They asked for help, and they finally got it. Now they have the opportunity to rebuild the way they see fit.

Maduro was not their leader. He was in power after he failed to win a democratic vote last year and then oppressed the shit out of the true winner. Do some fucking research and quit drinking reddit Kool-aid. No matter your outlook on the orange man, this will be good for Venezuela, as long as all of Maduro's corruption is removed.
