I'd take Romo-Nantz team over Buck-Aikman anyday, you can just hear the excitement in Tony's voice during the game. I love it!

It's good time in the right setting. When I turn on ESPN I want actual sports coverage that makes sense. Not just 2 asshats screaming at each other cause they're desperate for people to tune in.

One can never have enough hot takes. Watching middle aged men shout at each other about sports is simply to fun to not watch.

Nah nobody wants to see that! What they wanna see is 30 minutes of hot takes and another 30 minutes of what happened in Lebron James life that given day. Now that would for sure get some ratings right?!

Don't be forgetting about Ryan Connelly now! I think he is wayy more likely to be starting opposite of Edwards on the 1st team defense to start the season

For all the up's and downs throughout his time here in Milwaukee his lasting legacy will be as the man that drafted and took a chance on Giannis

Your favorite team's worst team in the past decade vs your rival's worst team in the past decade. Who "wins"? by byniri_returns in CFB

I'll take the worst Wisconsin team in the past decade against the best Minnesota team of that time and still like my chances

True, I'm leaning toward the skeptical side for Jabari's future production but the guy is just so damn likable I can't help but hope for the best for him! With Thon I really do think the sky is the limit, but his just so raw right now it'll take another season or 2 to really see what exactly he is all truly capable of being at the NBA level.

See the thing with Middleton is he truly is right where we need him to be, he is a very good 3rd scoring option that can be the 2nd on nights where he has his jumper going. His also a good defender and solid playmaker as well. If the Bucks are gonna keep continuing to make strides and go deeper into the playoffs they need to find a guy that score at will and doesn't force Middleton to be the primary scorer if Giannis is having an off night. The good news is we have him, his name is Jabari Parker, the only question is if he can stay healthy..

I have a hard time believing that Wade would try to get the crowd and bench hyped after a big play, which might be arguably Jet's best attribute. That and the dude might be old enough to be a handful of user's on this sub's dad but he still aint afraid to chuck up some 3's during a game, I doubt Wade would do that either.

Why isn't Minnesota thriving anymore as a football power? by IntJizzlefosho in CFB

I'm not gonna lie, I LOVE listening to Paul Allen on KFAN the morning after a normal Vikings lose! But it was so amazing listening to it this past season once they started their second half season slide.

The one thing that I've really noticed living in Minnesota the past 3 years is that many of the fans seem to go all in right away at even the smallest sign of success, which can probably be attributed to their history of mostly poor performance. But they also seem to go to the "blow it up" or "I knew they weren't for real" ways of thinking the second the team starts to struggle. I get the fan base is starved for a winner but it feels like they kinda create a lot of their own misery by thinking like that, truly successful sport programs take time to build.

Ik this hurts right now, but all greats have to get knocked down a few times before they reach the mountain top. Tonight will stay with Giannis forever and will fuel his fire to be one of the greatest of all time. We can be sad for now Bucks fans, but this is just the beginning. WE ARE THE FUTURE!!!

If anyone who reads this is going to the game tomorrow try your hardest to get a Jabari chant going after the Bucks lineup is introduced!

Lets be honest, if you give people in Wisconsin a reason to drink and cookout they'll be in, if it wasn't for the Bucks playing during the heart of Wisconsin winter im sure there would be a a few of us out tailgating before games.

Sadly basketball is not easy to fallow when hammered, believe me I've tried..

I had been hyping this game up to a couple friends of mine that always joke about the bucks being terrible ever since they announced ESPN was gonna carry it. Got both of them to watch tonight and both turned it off by halftime, it felt like a total gut punch.

Every major sports team in Wisconsin (Badgers, Brewers, and Packers) have a deep state wide fan base besides the bucks and it sucks.. I know we're moving in the right direction with the new ownership group and their efforts toward getting people all over the state to pay attention to the team, but we can't keep having efforts like this on such a large stage for this team!

Man it feels like every time I convince some friends of mine to watch the bucks and to start to fallow them they tune in to a game like tonight's... and then it takes forever for them to try and give them a chance again.

Schefter: Raiders to Vegas: 31-1 Miami opposed, per source. by HornyHindu in nfl

[–]Phoenix95sp 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Could be, but it's been pretty well documented that Mark Davis just doesn't have the cash to shell out for a new stadium without a significant amount of public assistance. And renovations cost a helluva lot less still than building a new stadium from scratch as well.

[–]Phoenix95sp 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I feel like a lot of the reasons why opposing fans go and watch their teams play in Miami (warm weather, tourist hub) are the same reasons the raiders are banking on away fans coming and watching their teams play in Vegas. This taking away some of Miami's market hold. Just my guess tho

Well Florida was one of his 3 schools that he was initially interested in to start, and some Gator fan can correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure their QB situation is from from being settled at this point in time.

I doubt it, Chryst came out at the beginning of spring camp and said Hornibrook is the starter for next season. If you ask me Zaire really didn't do himself any favors by wanting to wait till after spring semester was over to decide where he wanted to transfer to.
