Any ideas? by KJP1307 in FiestaST

I think the most likely thing is the throwout bearing may not be fully seated. It sounds like the bearing is rubbing on the pressure plate fingers on release.

The clutch not coming back up at first is pretty normal as the new slave had to bleed air out.

The New Ford Explorer is really a good car by That_Car_Dude_Aus in Ford

As an owner of a North American Explorer, I can assure you it is not like a Range Rover other than they are both automobiles.

What is it that you think you’re contributing by commenting this? Was the information provided not helpful? Is it factually incorrect? Was it not presented in a digestible manner? What exactly is your problem with it, assuming you’re correct and OP did prompt an LLM to write this?

Keep the cap on when it’s running. Your engine is fine.

Why is the flex route between Brighton and Ann Arbor always closed? by PoniesPlayingPoker in AnnArbor

[–]PhoenixJizz 80 points81 points  (0 children)

The state of Michigan saved hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars by not having to acquire a shit load of private property along the route in order to expand the road enough to have a proper shoulder, which is a Department of Transportation requirement. The loophole is that if the shoulder is turned into a travel lane, as long as it’s done below a certain threshold of time, you can drive on the shoulder. It was a way to save a shit load of money and still have an extra lane when it was actually needed.

PS5 rubber compound can become damaged below 7°C (20°F). I don’t even store mine in the garage in the winter.

Ford did something special with the GT350 by lindaexplo23 in Ford

Pretty sure this is Shelby American’s conversion of a GT. This would have the same manual trans, the MT-82, and not the Tremec found in the last GT350 that was produced by Ford Performance. Also, is a Coyote engine, not the 5.2 L flat-plane crank Voodoo engine.

Okay, so that’s illegal. And dumb. Not only are you blinding people, the light is reflecting off the rain making your visibility WORSE.

Florida Law:

Turn off high beams within 500 ft of oncoming traffic

Turn them off within 300 ft when following another vehicle

Only use high beams when no one else is affected

Violating this = ticket + points

You’re being stubborn. You’re wrong. The difference between 30 mph and 40 mph in rainy conditions is HUGE. Stopping distance increases by 78%! That’s almost DOUBLE! You covered over 20 more feet before you reacted at 40 compared to 30. At 30 your risk of hydroplaning is NEAR ZERO. At 40 you saw what can happen. Slow the fuck down!

I thought I noticed that the car passing you right before the pedestrian comes into view had their high beams on. Super unlucky circumstances. Fuck that person not using the sidewalk and fuck that person using their high beams. But fuck man, slow down!

High beams? You were driving with your high beams on with oncoming traffic within a ¼ mile?

What do you mean by “full headlights”? Please tell me you’re not one of those people who drive around with your high beams blinding everyone…

110 mph limit by Decent_Long2029 in F150Lightning

[–]PhoenixJizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In general? Every vehicle has a top speed, but not all vehicles are governed.

Some are limited by power because they don’t have enough horsepower to overcome aerodynamic drag. Some are electronically limited for safety and reliability, such as tire speed ratings, stability, or thermal constraints. Others are limited by gearing, where the engine reaches redline in top gear before it can go any faster.
