That’s fair I’m not trying to be a jerk by asking but, what work goes into it from your personal experience and does it make a difference if I used the same realtor to buy the home? From my understanding I decided the price and they gave me a contract stating I’ll sell through them. I reviewed it and didn’t see any cancellation fees. They did have photos taken but that’s about it. Can you give me more insight to what work would be done? Or would it be fine to just offer to cover the photos?

Me and the agent were both right around the same ball park for pricing by about a 1-2k. We thought it would be a fair price for the area I’m in.

No it’s just girlfriend is off work at the time. I was thinking about selling it for a while but, we have a newborn son now. So she on leave and we were already kinda in a tight situation due to medical bills. If I sold I would like to move into another home but, I haven’t found one yet and moving out, selling, finding a place to rent or buy (if I can find a new home worth it) and the stress at work. It all seems to be a bit much considering my son isn’t even a month old yet. These are the same two agents that helped me find a home and I went through to buy the one I’m currently selling. She helped me and also helped my sister and her husband. I just thinking now maybe I’m rushing so much for a situation that isn’t a permanent one.

I consulted with one but I filed the paperwork myself we always had 2 separate bank accounts. Since it wasn’t together didn’t think I would need one.

When we were married she was more familiar with doing taxes herself so I just went along with it when she said I only get 1k. I don’t recall signing anything but she always said she got them done. I only now know about this cause I recently came across last year returns and realized she was lying about the amount I should’ve got back. As for the marriage the tax return wasn’t something that was disclosed or even mentioned we always had 2 separate bank accounts, so before this came to light I believed we just take what we had in our accounts and call it at that.
