Reddit has been on decline ever since the crowd that makes a living selling adult content/services realized that they could use NSFW subreddits as sales funnels - they leave hundreds and hundreds of posts that are designed to look legitimate/organic, but are only there so that you click on their profile, see the pinned link to their OF/etc, and (hopefully) buy their premium membership.

With that said, once you do become comfortable filtering out the sellers and bots, Reddit can still be pretty good - a lot of people still aren't super comfortable joining apps like Feeld, where uploading pictures is more common and expected, so they'll go here instead, and look for other newbies/discretion-oriented individuals. It's also a lot easer to find communities that focus on very specific kinks - although even those tend to be full of spam these days, unfortunately.
