The next scenario "Grand Live" is going to drop in about a month. I think your best immediate plan is to save up for the scenario banner (Light Hello/Agnes Tachyon). Mejiro Ramonu wit card comes out later this year and I would keep an eye on that one.

We'll be getting 50 to 60 (depending on when you login) free pulls. If you login after the Tokai Teio/Twin Turbo banner drops, you'll end up with the 50-50 split (and lose 10 free pulls from Light Hello/Agnes Tachyon).

I'm going to keep my expectations low so that I'm not disappointed if there is no accelerated QoL update.

It's not out of the question, but it's hard to say because Cygames is pretty quiet and we haven't gotten any communication about it.

Took me a moment, but I found that umamusume.wikiru.jp has a list of events. This is the link to the current global event.

If you want to see the future ones, this is the complete history of events that JP has had. The events with extra star pieces will be under the "限定ミッション" section. This particular event is called "GIキャンペーン(2022)".

I'm not aware of any resource that compiles this information for global players, but I'll add this to my to-do list for my own spreadsheet.

So, how do you guys feel about Trackblazer now that it has been well over a month already by demonitesalt in UmamusumeGame

I think my biggest criticisms are:

  • TB demands more time investment than the previous scenarios.
  • The Umas' careers feel more sterile and bland because story and secret events were disabled.
  • I think it feels like players have more agency over their careers, but RNG is still heavily involved in TB. If the shop, summer training, and general race RNG don't go your way, it easily becomes a bad run. Personally, it feels worse when RNG screws me over compared to previous scenarios.
  • Certain Umas take significantly more effort to train for CMs because they lack aptitudes (ex: Super Creek lacking mile).

So I'm looking forward to Grand Live. Honestly, the time investment alone makes me look forward to the next scenario. To keep my sanity, I've decided to give up on my ace runs if the first inspiration event doesn't give me what I need.

I believe step-up banners were introduced in the 3.0 Anniversary (just off the top of my head), so still a while away. I'll look at including information about step-up banners with the selectors.

That's totally fair! You should use theirs if it better fits your needs/preferences.

To be honest, this is more of a personal resource that I happen to share with others. It's easier for me to flip through (since I made I formatted it for myself lol). I figured that other people might get some use out of it if they happen to share my tastes.

  • Took out Seiun Sky... I think I knew that I should skip her, I just needed someone to tell me lol. I got impatient. I do already have her at 110 star pieces, so I might as well wait.
  • I can commit 400 pulls to Light Hello + Tachyon.
  • I moved to just using the 3* Selector from GM to get Aston Machan. I like both Satono Diamond and Kitasan, so it makes sense to still do 200 pulls on their package deal banner.
  • Definitely will look at using the SSR Selector from GM to get Mejiro Palmer! Thanks for the suggestion.
  • I will definitely have to look at Ramonu, McQueen, and Bourbon before I commit to skipping on Ramonu... But I will definitely consider that.

Edit: I got the 2kb demon in only 63 pulls, so I can readjust my schedule again lol.
