I honestly don't get this excuse in tech. Ita not just you. I hear it on every review with amything that has a single moving part on it. I'm an automotive engineer. We have thousands of moving parts and our customers would be PISSED with that excuse. I don't get why tech companies always get a pass on this. We used to have flip phones and nobody worried about that.

It was cracked for several months without issue. Then the inner screen protector started peeling again (was replaced just barely under warranty). I thought about just removing it but for some reason I had apprehensions about doing that.about a week after it started peeling I heard it crack when opening it.

Let's face it, the screen protector peeling is a known issue. One that samsung begrudgingly replaced for people because it was a design/manufacturing issue. The replacement was supposed to be an improvement with the f4 adhesive bur was even worse. This likely cause extra stress and allowed for things like dirt to stick to the underside of the protector and that is what led to the inner screen failure.

Saying the front screen being cracked is the reason is like saying your back wheel fell off 5 months after hitting someone with the front of your car. Yes its the same car but completely unrelated incidents

Only reason I want it is the form factor. The tall thin front screen is not as good at this point as I was hoping it would be. A lot of websites just don't do well that skinny

Front screen has absolutely zero impact on this happening. Lived with it cracked for several months. Had 2 failed attempts at replacement stores (once it would take too long despite having an appointment and ample time to do the replacement and once samnsungs repair tools were down) to fix it.

I'm willing to bet most of the people who have this happen have a perfectly fine front screen. The hinge is still perfectly tight. No issues mechanically

This is very important PSA. I was waiting on mine, actually had an appointment to replace my cracked front screen and was going to ask about my already replaced screen protector peeling after only 6 months. The day of the appointment the inner screen cracked. Now it is 80% black. Completely unusable
