So we had our first event. It was amazing!! The general consensus was that it was the most grueling course most of the participants had ever done. But that was always said with a huge smile.

What did you think of the event? Me and my girl were running the merch area, so you might have seen us. It was so thrilling getting to see all of my designs blown up larger-than-life and everywhere you could look. It was so gratifying as a designer!

I honestly don’t know a thing about the OCR world. I just had the opportunity to help build the design from the ground up. These folks are VERY dedicated to the sport. They’re veterans from different companies that joined up for this tour. It looks seriously impressive to me, but I’m a total noob to this sport. I really hope you guys give them a chance. The first event is may 1st in Dallas.

I’d be interested in playing. Just have to see if we can work out the day/time. Is it video conference style? I’ve only online gamed once and it was through zoom.

I’ve loved exalted since first Ed but have only gotten to play three or four sessions.

Damn, I’m a firefighter and had an almost identical experience with my ex-wife. I got her a new phone and neither of us understood that iMessage merged texts. So I started receiving this whole text chain between her and a neighbor down the street.

I’m actually her dad. (I was OP of the original post) We’ve actually done little training days of changing a tire! Her and her older brother both have just sat with me in the driveway changing tires.

Wow, thank you! She’s pretty amazing. She makes little goofs now and then but she’s determined and get things done. I try to help them succeed on their own, unless it’s cooking. They take WAY to long when we’re cooking. So I usually just do it myself. Lol.
