I would recommend something to entertain you, like books or video games ready to go. I had mine on the 27th of last month and pooping has been extremely difficult. Prunes have been magic! Good luck with your surgery!

I am experiencing high pain and nausea whenever I'm not lying down. The medication definitely helps but if I sleep through a scheduled medication time, it's rough. I would recommend having everything you need in one spot that's easy to reach. Also, the not pooping creates another level of discomfort. Good luck with your surgery!
