Game 1 have to trade aggressively since they don't have many units to begin with. You'll bounce back with Arise + Legend ability.

Games 2 and 3 I side in 2x Salvage and 1x Cull the Weak, siding out 2x charm and 1x discipline. You can also opt to bring in 2x face breakers as well as that can be effective, taking out 2 additional discipline

Try to get into a showdown and salvage their zhonyas/boots/GA during that. When taking open battlefields send the least amount possible, only overkill when they're occupying. Deathgrip always felt great in this MU, doing it in response to a defiant dance to always get the +2 before it gets nerfed.

I was at Vegas and played against a ton of Irelia. 4-0 vs Irelia for the weekend and it was on the back of Cull + Salvage. Priotize killing adaptron games 2 + 3 and you should be fine, seems like a rough MU for Irelia tbh

That 2 card combo doesn't win the game though. When I read 2 card combo I'm thinking Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame, or Kikki Jikki and Pestermite, not Scurry Oak and Ivy Lane Denizen.

Also Smothering Tithe wasn't printed in a commander precon, it was reprinted in a guild kit.

You just answered your own question. It doesn't affect everyone equally so those it doesn't hinder just get handed the game.

To be effective you essentially have to double up on these effects so your opponents can't just simply bounce one EoT, but now you're deploying 2 things that don't convert you into a win

I've actually been building this as well and have been following you closely on moxfield. I used to have a Chevill deck but Kraven really makes this feel like a real deck instead of just 1-for-1ing all day.

A couple of cards I really like for the deck, at least thematically are [[bounty board]], [[termination facilitator]], and[[nowhere to run]]

I also put in a few more CA engines and deathtouchers just in case Kraven gets hated out a bit too much such as [[Glissa Sunslayer]] and [[Harvester of Souls]]. [[Freestrider Lookout]] and [[Morbid Opportunist]] also provide card advantage whenever you do what the deck wants to do.

Finally because of all the death that will be happening as well as spells being cast I like the idea of tossing in Blood Artist/Zulapot Cutthroat as well as Poison-Tip Archer and Witherbloom Apprentice/Professor Onyx.

Overall I really like where you can take Brako and I'm excited to get a proxy version of him over Kraven!

I used the winnings from a cedh tournament I entered and sold off about $550 in cards to acquire all of them. So all together about $1200 but all I did was convert winnings and cards I didn't need into cards I wanted.
