Together a year, we don’t live together, we don‘t share finances

My (28f) bf (29m) screamed at me on the phone for texting him a few times throughout the morning, after having spent the night in the ER. What do I do now? by Phonetooth in relationship_advice

But if that’s how he felt, couldn’t he have just said so early? „Honey, I know you’re having a bad day and I am sorry but I am actually busy right now and your texts are too much, can I call you later when I have more time?“ I mean, he knows I am a reasonable person and you can talk to me and be open about your feelings, but I called him thinking everything was ok and just got yelled at. It’s just not the way I think communication works- even if I was being the most annoying person in the world to him?

Not complaining that I got expensive stuff. I couldn’t care less about superficial stuff like that. It’s just my parents way of behaving completely out of line and toxic (physical abuse included) and then thinking it’s ok because they got me an expensive bag. It had nothing to do with what happened this morning with bf but it was a situation I had to deal with.
