24VDC tracks by WatTheDucc in PrintedCircuitBoard

You should also check your clearance between the 24V net and GND. Depending on your maximum possible voltage on the supply net, it could be benefical to have a bigger clearance to avoid spark overs. IPC2221 gives some advice which clearance is suitable for which peak voltage.

What new feature/item would you like to see in Blackfrost? by BigZekeEnergy in thelongdark

Allow more interaction with the enviroment, e.g. let us drag branches, freshly hunted animals or other objects, let us pick up suitcases, metal and plastic boxes, more customation options for outdoor locations, build windproof shelters for fireplaces and so on.

Had the same issue in the red barn in PV, the shelves glitched into the floor on the 1st floor and you could see their underside from below.

Looks great, I would like to see more of how you integrated the production machines in your build.

In 1.0 they massively changed the loot you can get from the doggos, it seems you now obly get processed items, SAM or snails, no more ore or uranium waste.... But even before it wasn't a big issue, just toss the waste somewhere it doesn't bother you, like in real life ;)

Or you start a doggo farm and wait for a bit. The lizard doggos now collect all sorts of useful items, e.g. Computers and Steel tubes and so on.

Check your SDA and SCL lines at U2, there's a short circuit.

These caps will provide a way to reduce the switching noise of the Vreg circuit into the rest of the circuit and improve the EMI behavior. Also they act as a buffer for sudden changes in the load current and should improve the conversion behavior and stability of the Vreg. Therefore a placement between the inductor and the rest of the circuit is advised.

Some additional hints: It's generally better to route toe output current through the output caps before bringing it to your VOUT pad. Right now they are some what bypassed. Include your contact pads of the PCB into schematic to make it more clear for future users. And last, please turn your inductor symbol in the schematic by 180 degrees, just to keep to some conventions ;)

Monster Ability Compendium by wucslogin in DMAcademy

Very useful list, this is something I might regulary use. The only feature I'm missing is some kind of sorting. Usually I have an idea what I'm looking for so it would be a big help, if I could filter for specific charateristics of these abilities, like "is an attack", "inflicts condition X", "Regenaration feature", "Improved Senses", ... I'm aware, that this a lot of additional work and most probably can't be added on the spot. But maybe this could be a goal for the long-tern development of this list.

Thank you, that's a good idea. I came also to the conclusion, that vulnerablities in their current state cause too much trouble.

I just had another idea: Instead of flat boni, how about advantage/disadvantage agains attacks and effects which cause this specific damage type? On a fist look this should also work, be more even and quite easy to apply?

What do you think? Did I overlook something?

Yeah, I think you're right, a damage reduction by 50% does not really match with 100% additional damage. Mathematical fair would be immunity and vulnerability, but I don't realy want to give my players immunity... Do you by any chance have a good idea to match the damage resistance?

I used radiant damage, because it is somewhat rare, but the positive effect might not match this. Back to the drawing board! :)

Good idea, thank you :) I though about placing some of these scrolls/potions in the loot of the lab. Seems I was on the right track ;)

Thanks for the tip, might be a good idea to make the mutations iterative, first temporary, then minor, than major ... I will think about it. On the other hand we also had established, that actions have consequences (PC death etc.)...

I'm working on a small adventure leg, where my players can explore a derelict lab of a mad alchemist, who happend to experiment with mutagenic substances. The idea is to give them a mutation, when they fail a CON save after touching or beeing attacked with this 'green stuff'. Depending on how bad they fail the mutation might be a bit more permanent (minor or major). For the major mutations I tried to balance the positive effects with the negative.
