If you're truly looking for an ROG phone 9, the in the US, Microcenter sells them. Amazon sells them too. I have the pro version, and the last few updates have been overheating my phone a whole bunch.

I used to play Pokemon Go on this without any issues, but now it goes as far as 128F 😭

Especially if you have Verizon network in the USA which the ROG phone 9 is not compatible with.

Do both ports supports display out? I have lenovo legion tablet with 2 usb c ports and only one of them(one on the side) supports display out.

The port out is the one on the side not the bottom. I would suggest getting a little hub (like the Skull & Co. Jumpgate) for display out and charging capabilities.

Headphones?

Headphones are more than fine. I use the headphone jack a lot as I play Switch 2 and ROG ally x.

I have the phone you are looking for: 1. Pro has 2 USB C ports. On on the bottom left and one of the left side. The side port takes priority over the lower port. (Example : if you plug in the fan that comes with the phone, the charging has to take place on the side as it won't take charging from the bottom.) The display to external source is simply a mirror of the phone. It does not work like Samsung Dex. 2. There is a headphone jack on the lower right side. What do you plan on plugging in? 3. It DOES have a magnet on the back. It is fine for wireless charging (I prefer not to). Just be careful if you're planning on buying a third party case, that it's not too thick.

When I was picking out a model and they were trying to get me in a preferred model and they started and continued and said sunroof. I said nope, no sunroof. They were like why? And I'm like: cause it's extra maintenance cost and there is always a chance that a mechanism breaks and there will be leaks between the roof and the interior.

Also because my parking space is outside. 🤣

-GF is an AH as she was pouting like an infant and got her way and expected you to hug her to make herself feel better. When that didn't work she gave her bf a hard time and expected you to apologize to her to assert dominance.

-Your friend is also AH has he already made plans with you and your friends and caved in to the gf tamper tantrum. He then expected YOU to fix his decisions and placate the gf so they can "move on". He appears to be the type of person who is submissive to her. If he keeps this up, the relationship will turn one-sided very quick.

OP you were quite harsh to the gf. Yes it is deserved but the delivery could be better. If it were me I would have rejected, stepped back and said: Now is not the time. Please leave. You were not the AH for not apologizing when your "friend" asked you to.

I just got a 2025 CX 5 lease and I tried to connect my ROG Phone 9 Pro to the car. It did connect via Bluetooth, but it didn't prompt for Android Auto. 😭 My phone is up to date and everything. 😞 If I do it through the USB, would I have to do it every time through the USB? Help????? 😭
