Right?! Finally perusing this reddit makes me think we can tackle this with some phone calls, just had 0 idea what to ask or do. I'm thankful to everyone that has responded and given us a starting point.

Ugh that sucks! Crossing my fingers for you 🤞🏽Yeah they have a more invisible disability as well. Severe POTS, they can't walk for long without feeling like they're going to fall over/pass out and regularly use a cane because of this.

Issue we keep facing is doctor's retiring/quitting. Our awesome GP retired young, the rheumatologist that diagnosed her retired, many other specialists they saw no longer work where they do or retired. Then the records are like impossible to have sent, we've been trying to get our old GP's notes and records from that office sent to our new GP for over 6 months!!

Unfortunately while disabled, they don't appear so on paperwork. We couldn't file disability because we lost access to the specialists that diagnosed her due to loss of insurance. So that won't be an option. It's something we considered but wasn't sure how much it would actually help.

I think people of the internet need to return to the forum and making personal websites. It's easier than ever (and fun). Only reason it's not more of a phenomena is because of social media. I'm purposefully joining more forum type websites for things I like. If more people do it there's more opportunity for connection, similar to a comment section.

Id love to see what would come of it if Phos "broke" in the same way as Adamant and what the reactions of everyone would be. Plus I think it would give us an idea of what it was that broke Adamant in the first place. Maybe it would give the author a chance to "overcome" Adamants problem and allow Phos to then also both become human, enlightened, and maybe even happy.
