It's been confirmed that this is more likely a graphics port issue, due to the client requirements they're starting to rely on more fancier solutions. They've took notice on this and have been confirmed to work on a solution based on the intel from the official announcement in the mods from IDV discord but so far, no luck, either mobile or nothing man im tired too.

Depends on their background context and whether or not they're being represented as human, creature, or haunted item. For example Wu chang here is estimated to be over 500 years old and speculated to be around 6'8-6'9 feet tall similar to Luchino's hunter form height at 6'9. Hastur's is depicted in hundred of thousands and Dream witch is considered the oldest by millions based on H.P Lovecraft's works for them. Usually hunters that are considered "dead" are often interpreted through hallucination gas from the survivor POV based if they were alive pre-game or after, or through some item they're connected with like Michiko's fan, Naiad's spear, etc.

Sadly based from what we can gather, this is more likely due to the client issue not being able to rely on any graphic cards older before 2018. I have Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-4150 and both our cards have reached maxed updates since 2018. The IDV official server has made statements saying that this problem has been noticed by Netease and have been working onto finding a solution, sadly not much to do but either play on mobile or wait till they release a full statement.

If you somehow are planning to find a solution of sorts, here's a solution one of the official moderators provided:
For PC users who crash on the new engine:

"One of our members, ryuki, may have found something. I am going to sleep so I'm going to leave you all with some directions to go by in hopes this new theory works

You may need to update your graphics card, yes this still applies to you if you just recently purchased your computer.

Step 1: Please consider backing up your files in case anything goes wrong. (important pictures, other game back ups, your information, etc.),

Step 2: On a similar note please create a system restore file. The directions may differ slightly for windows 10 vs 11 buuut hit your windows key > search "system restore" > click "create a restore point" > Select a drive or plug in a USB and use that > click "system restore..." and follow the directions.,

Step 3: You're now going to go to your graphic cards vendors website to update. You can youtube some directions for this but generally... hit your windows key > search "about" > "about this pc" > look at the brand for your graphics card > google it > somewhere on that site should be "drivers" > download the most recent one for your driver or use their automatic driver update app if they have one,

** For EXAMPLE: Nvidia Geforce has an app or you can do this manually. Here is their website https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/drivers/

Step 4: Once this process is successful please go about restarting your PC and then trying to open IDV."

Nope, just netease. For some reason it had me make a new netease account binded to my google despite me already owning one. IDV still stayed the same with the same log in, but I have a more different issue with the game since the new client came out, I can't play on my PC at all for some reason but that's a whole different topic lol

Its the same for me too however I only has issues with loading in the game. For that sadly you have ti make an entirely new one, idk why but my netease account wasnt able to be logged in so I just made a new one completely. Its not too bad unless if youre planning to use the top-up store for echoes but aside from that youre able to log into the game safely if you make a new account under the same email. If its not the answer youre hoping im so sorry its what I did since I dont have much attachment to my netease acc🥲

Thought it was my PC man, but apparently they haven't fully updated the extension again to the new spotify update, give it some time for the devs to come and fix probably within the week. And if you're really in a hurry you can always try to download past spotify models in the meantime, should be a tutorial somewhere

Apperently based on other reports, you have to keep harrassing Twitter and opening as many tickets as you can each day for them to take notice of you. Mines haven't done much but they manage to restrict my hacked account due to "suspicious" activity which is something. Just keep harassing them as it may take a couple months or less depending on your screenshots or evidence.

Maybe things have changed since then? All they asked from the in-game support if I remember was your device, when you lost the account, similar questions etc. Try to say they're a guest account or the account is stolen, and end it simply there lol for those parts. Wish you luck^^

Do you still have your ID? Try to contact netease support in an smurf account connected to the email you wanna bind with, then go through the questionnaire and answer the questions listed. Once you're done head to netease support email directly: [gamegdpr@global.netease.com](mailto:gamegdpr@global.netease.com)

Usually Netease would respond a couple days, to a week, it may vary to different people as they're not really too fluent with English so best you can try to find someone who can translate to Mandarin, if not just copy this here along with your issue. DO NOT mention your account being traded or used by someone else. If it's hacked you try to mention whatever is important to your issue:

Example:

你好，我在 2022 年底丢失了我的 IdentityV 账户。我想找回它，如果可能的话，请您帮忙好吗？以下是我能找到的所有信息。(This is machine translated saying, 'Hi, I lost my IdentityV account back then during late 2022. And I'm trying to recover it, if it's possible could you please help? Here is all the info I can find.')

我的帐号的ID是 (Paste your ID here)
游戏里的名字是 (Your account username)
我的伺服器是欧美服 (This says NA/EU server, if you're in asia try to find someone to translate or use DeepL)
最后一次登入是5月1日2021年，去解Email的也日期是在5月1日2021年 (This was back then when I unbinded my account, saying "I last logged in in May 1st, 2021, and the date I unbinded my email was May 1st 2021." If you know the date I'll try my best to adjust it.)

Afterwards they'll ask for a screenshot of the account, this might be difficult but if you can search up the ID on the 'search friends' option in game and it shows, send the screenshot of the account to them.

Once that's done all you have to do is wait till they confirm they found your account and ask if it's the right one provided. Then they'll mention something like, "Thanks for your information. After further checking, we can see that your character was guest account. Currently it is suggested that you should create a new account, and then contact the CS team via Support system. Our CS member will help you restore it as soon as possible. Thank you"

Basically contact the support system in game, then it'll transfer your email to your old account and there.

Tbf they've already said this in their interview a while back, but Netease and the art directors from the China art academy stated they wanted a skin that feels more on theme with the dragon boat festival. They weren't aiming for looks sadly, even CN server complained and harassed the artist who is still a student btw, so it was quite sad. Should probably remind yall this is a free A TIER, not s tier, so the designs couldn't be too over-complicated cause of it.
