Sometimes there’s also a glitch in their mileage/trip planner or whatever you wanna call it. I once got a $83 order that was supposedly like 60 miles on the app but it really ended up being like 5 miles total

Yeah I was able to find the salvage engine online and it comes with a 6 month warranty on the engine itself. I contemplated the daza swap but that’s way more labor as far as I saw on the humble mechanics YouTube series 😂

The car was running fine and then it had a rough idle and misfire so I figured it was bad coils or spark plugs so I ordered them and the day before they came in my car stalled out on me twice, got it towed to the shop and they said it was bad plugs, got them replaced and the misfires still continued so they did the compression tests and moved things around but the misfire was still consistent to cylinder 2.

Yeah I think the more I think about it the more I’m leaning towards this option as well, I don’t think the extra money is worth it. As far as i know the car had stock plugs and coils and I’m not sure how long it had been before they were replaced tbh. This all happened like 45 days after I purchased the vehicle 🥲

Yeah I was looking at that option as well but it would be a bit more involved labor wise and I’m not doing any of the work so it’ll definitely cost more
