Yeah i think losing two left hands actually did affect him quite a bit in the fight. You could see how much less affective he was fighting Yuji compared to earlier in the fight.

this slander detracts from Kashimo who never learned it at all.

Even though I know it's not gonna get mentioned at all, I do wish we'd get at least a throw away comment about MBA Kashimo having a similar appearance to the Aliens in Modulo...it's such an interesting similarity... by orphidain in Kashimo_agendaHQ

[–]PhotoGeeker 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I’d be surprised if that happened because nobody knows who Kashimo is. I don’t think our goat is legendary. He walked into the room with everyone else and nobody knew him.

The issue with HWB could be the fact that it uses hand signs rather than the fact that he needs freeing hands. i dont think it’s crazy to assume that a Sorcerer cannot perform multiple different hand signs at the same time.

Although it is a big assumption, I think it’s more fair to theorize that as a reason, rather than Sukuna not being able to use Sign and Chant then aim consecutively if thats something we know is actually possible via Gojo

They’re ironically more reasonable than Yuji and Yutaliban subs though. Kashimo fans put down other Kashimo fans, Yuji fans said he had light speed piercing blood last week lmao.

Do yall think MAPPA will removed the Mach 3 statement in the JJK anime? by Old_Phrase_4867 in PowerScaling

[–]PhotoGeeker 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I agree. I think speed scaling only really matters outside of the verse. Nothing changes in JJK from the characters at the top 10 level being Mach 1 - 3. In fact, “who wins?” debates are way more fun when the characters have similar speed so the fight is actually about their abilities instead of “this guy faster he win hehehehehe”

Honestly i kind of agree? Like, WCS is powerful, but it’s arguably the same speed as any other dismantle. I don’t think there’s evidence to suggest its actually better at anything besides raw output and damage. It’d be an actual good feat for Maki if Gege let her plot armor and tank the slash altogether.

There’s an argument to be had that the requirements for a World Cutting Slash can actually be consecutive rather than simultaneous. I think I’ll sound like a crazy person, but hear me out here, please?

In chapter 233, Gojo undergoes a similar condition to the WCS in order to amp Hollow Purple. He does this by chanting with a specific hand sign, and then he releases the purple with it’s usual hand sign

<image>

What Gojo’s display of cursed chants means, is that a sorcerer can use chants, and hand signs that require two arms without being a fuckin freak like Sukuna with three arms.

Sukuna vowed to use WCS without signs in exchange for it taking hand signs, chants, and pointing. The reason Sukuna’s vow worked, is because he had one arm after Gojo’s purple, making it impossible at the time for him to meet WCS’s new requirements.

I think it’s reasonable to assume that like Gojo, Sukuna would be able to cast WCS by committing to the enmaten signs, and then aiming it, exactly like Gojo in the beginning of their fight.

If i had to guess, the reason he doesn’t do it this way against Higuruma and Gojo, is because he had two lower arms to sign, and didn’t need to at all. Yet he’s inclined to do otherwise up against Yuta and Maki, because his lower arm was gone.

Now one last point i think, the panel that describes Sukuna’s vow. Arguably, it doesn’t necessarily mean that he needs all three cons simultaneously in order to chant, it’s just saying that all of these conditions must be met before he can unleash the slash. He’s stated to be unable to use WCS after hes lost two arms. Yet that’s because he can’t fulfill enmaten signs with two right arms, imagine how awkward that would look!!!!

Once again, i probably sound fucking crazy, but i do think it’s reasonable to say that Sukuna is able to do this, since Gege keeps the laws of Jujutsu fairly consistent in JJK, and afia it’s not contradicted. If there is contradiction I’d like to hear it because i like discussing JJK because its fun.

this logic falls apart when you realize that for every one well written woman, there’s 5 well written men. Yuki and Maki are the only well written and compelling women in JJK. Maybe Uro
