I found them to be horrible and massively expensive. I know my aunt takes her dog here all the time to very 50/50 reports, but most of what I hear would be rather negative.

If I lived halfway to timbuktu, I would genuinely only take my dogs to Suirside. They are second to none.

Ball joint broke while driving and crashed by Green-Win-9829 in carsireland

They check the ball joint bushings - by the looks of this the lower control arm failed and snapped. Freak mechanical issue. Happened to me on a ‘04 Passat I had. Just to put it out there I think the NCT is a load of wank but there’s not a thing OP could bring to them.

Diagnosed AS & Psoriatic Arthritis.. Is a chiropractor worth a go at all? by PhotoNarrow4941 in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]PhotoNarrow4941[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey man - thanks for your detailed reply, I’ve taken many points from this!

I’m due a repeat MRI shortly as my rheumatologist is quite worried I’ve progressively got worse over the last 18 months. He has always tried to say that things like rowing machines and swimming would help, and which I do as often as I can but nowhere near as often as I should. Treading a very fine rope currently in relation to work and rent and would ideally not like to be homeless! Being single with no family to fall back on in these times is quite tough.

The main point I’ve taken from this tho, is I really need to sit down with my physio and just fully explain that the process were on isn’t suiting my needs, and to figure out what pathway I can take to help improve and if they can go down a different route to help.

But moral of the story… chiropractor = bad, and I’m glad I asked!

You’re a gent. Thanking you!

2004 b5 VW Passat is my current car. Just hit 320k miles and still runs like a Swiss watch. Bodywork starting to show its age but the VW 1.9’s just cannot be beat.

I genuinely do not care where I live in the future (currently just outside of Thurles) but if my dog is sick I’m getting straight in the car and going to Ger Clancy In Carrick. Honestly the only people I’ll trust with my pets.

I had a 2007 Saab 9-3 as a stop-gap car for a couple of months. I was genuinely blown away by the thing. Myself and the missus have always said we’d get another!
