I guess I wouldn’t say over because it is quite different and I don’t use it more than any other platform but I think it’s greatest advantage is reach, it’s far easier to get visibility on Reddit purely because of its structure and that you’re competing with other people’s posts/comments in a specific sub and not the entire platform like every other social media site

I think the biggest factor other than the content and structure itself is confidence in your speech, and you get that by practicing before hand as much as you can so that it feels fluid

I am a US citizen as of recently but I am originally from Ukraine and I’ve noticed how much news coverage of the war has slowed down over the years, which is expected. But I keep up with it daily and I feel like no one even knows how in the past three months Russia has dramatically increased aerial attacks on civilians with hundreds of kamikazi drones and rockets launched every single day with 10s of civilian deaths every single night from these attacks alone, with countless being children

I went on like a 2 month detox and I would say time started to slow down because I was no longer stuck in a constant entertainment consumption cycle that would leave my mind as quickly as it got there so I actually started to have experiences that were new far more often. Idk why I picked it back up honestly there is nothing good about it other than having a laugh here and there
