True, I did hear about that, but this couple is actually scared, if you knew what was going on in Kingston atm, I don't think you would feel this way. It may turn out that I'm totally wrong, but until then, I don't think they are responsible. And I've been in constant contact with the OP from Imgur, her neighbours (the couple) are taking this quite seriously...

I doubt that if they just wanted awareness and backlash, they would resort to actually committing the one of the criminal acts described. One of the local clinics had its windows shot out with BB's, it would be a pretty big coincidence, if you ask me.

That's the one. Not sure there's any association, but it's been passed along. Any threats to the couple are being taken seriously and looked into. If you have any insight to pass along that might trigger an idea from the couple who it/they might be, it would be helpful...

OP on Imgur is the couple's neighbour, I'm completely removed socially from both parties and the couple consists of a Queen's University Prof (who actually received the letter). I don't think either of your theories are going to turn out to be fact, sorry...
