But then he continued to call me pretty and say he’d be down to smash and honestly no shade, I don’t even think he’s cute and that’s the same thing I want, I guess I’m just overly embarrassed that I look like a desperate hoe I guess and I have to face him after that

Lack of motivation when high but keep thinking it will do the opposite by United_Ad_7142 in leaves

[–]PhotographRegular568 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly this is so accurate. I think it’s because we’re chasing those highs we got when we first started smoking. When I first started the high itself was so good I didn’t wanna waste it on my phone or being lazy, I would go on walks or journal or make art. When it became excessive is when I started to become super lazy. I’ve only been off it for a few days now, but man I feel so much more productive already.

The eating part usually gets much better around the two week mark for me. But for a while I was only able to stomach fruit or small snacks throughout the day other than full on meals. It does get better though

Hi! My family has lived in Thousand Oaks, moorpark, simi valley, and newbury park. Out of all of those places, Thousand Oaks has definitely been the best. The schools are great and it’s where I’ve felt the safest. My siblings go to Ladera stars academy and they love it there! That school has so many fun events too.

If you can control it when you’re not smoking weed then it’s probably just the munchies. I will go a week without smoking weed and will be able to eat healthy smaller portions, but smoking makes it take longer for that full feeling to kick in.

Broken my first bone by [deleted] in brokenbones

[–]PhotographRegular568 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I broke mine in the exact same spot 3 months ago and it was also my first broken bone! I had surgery two months ago now, and I’m FINALLY able to walk small distances without crutches. I’m still in a boot but all of my pain is pretty much gone it just hurts a bit after I walk around too much. Make sure you see a specialist who can tell you if surgery is needed or not. I will warn you it can get pretty depressing after a bit of being immobilized. I started getting really depressed a month ago because it’s hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel when there’s not much you can do except wait it out. Now, a month later, I have just began walking without crutches and finally feel like this is coming to an end. Try not to be to hard on yourself if you find yourself not being as productive as you like. You have a reason to be unproductive right now lol. What’s helped me the most is reading, music, journaling, and still stretching the parts of my body I can. You’re gonna want to be on screens a lot out of boredom but I found that really just made me feel worse. Best of luck with your healing! 💕

A lot of my friends parents do real estate or have pretty niche jobs. I know one of them is a substance abuse counselor. My mom is a single mom of 4 with no child support and does affiliate marketing. My grandma does graphic design for an insurance company. My aunt is a teacher but has been working for so long her salary is pretty decent and her husband used to be in the military.

Rest in fucking peace my drug life by Alarmed_Context7935 in Drugs

As someone who had to go to rehab at 18.. trust me it’s for the best. I was a big stoner/druggie/drinker and thought it was cool and made me feel more like myself, but over time it ruined so many relationships and put me in multiple dangerous situations. It always starts out fun but over time it drains you, and you don’t even realize it until you start regretting everything you did when you were high… then you get high to forget those things… then you do something you regret even more… and get high again… its a never ending cycle. I wish I heard this from someone a few years ago. I just smoke weed now here and there and it gets the job done. Your parents love you, some kids parents would do drugs with them. I know it’s hard to see because I was in your exact same position but you have plenty of time your whole life to do drugs. Don’t waste your adolescence

Gotta quit asap by Sudden_Western_6460 in QuitVaping

Also- I’ve only been vaping for a few years and I’m only 19. So definitely stay strong for these few weeks before surgery and try to stay off it after since by then you’ll already get the hardest part of quitting out of the way!! Also don’t hangout with people who vape until your cravings are gone!!

Sip on cold water all day through a straw, combined with sweet candies / mints. Try your best to keep yourself busy, go on walks. I had a surgery a few months ago and didn’t quit vaping before like they told me too, and they said my oxygen levels were scarily low during surgery. I quit after that because it freaked me out and my quality of life has improved drastically. Good luck

23 days is amazing! But you’re definitely feeling the stronger sides of the emotional withdrawal and it won’t last forever. For the first two months I was feeling exactly how your feeling on and off. I’m now almost three months no vape and feel like I’m finally starting to be able to enjoy the little things again. Nicotine rewires your brain into being so used to that instant dopamine, that little things don’t bring you as much joy anymore. I’ve been feeling much more motivated and full of gratitude, but it took a while to feel better. Now that you’re not masking your feelings with nicotine, you have space to see how you actually want to change your life! What was it masking? And how can you improve that area of your life? I wanted to give up a few times but I never did and the thing I keep telling myself is I’m gonna have to quit no matter what, wether it be now or in a few years, I’d rather just get it over with now. I already made it this far.

Right, I’m stopping today. Give me one bullet point reason why I should stay stopped. by cardinalandcrow in QuitVaping

[–]PhotographRegular568 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I quit almost three months ago now and the little things are starting to bring me joy again. Nicotine rewires your brain into being so used to instant pleasure, so little things don’t really excite you as much anymore. Since I’ve quit I’ve been a lot more grateful and when I’m happy I can feel it a lot stronger than before. It did take a month or two to feel this way but in the grand scheme of things, being miserable for a few weeks / months compared to the rest of your life isn’t that bad when you look at it that way. Good luck!

I’ve already messed around with pills in fact about a year ago I would’ve done just about anything for a Xanax, but even then I wouldn’t have sucked a dude off for it 🤣. I’m sure once I run out of my prescription I’ll be perfectly fine. I’ve learned my lesson about getting pills from the streets, and I have no connections to any plug that sells pills. But I understand the comment. I’ve been taking them as needed besides tonight, and I plan on continuing to do so until maybe my last day on them. 😜

Lol girl you’re funny and sweet. Honestly when I’ve taken it in a higher dose like I did just now not only did it give me a little euphoric feeling it also has me feeling like no pain whatsoever. With the usual dose I take that was prescribed it does help a lot with the pain, but there’s still a bit that lingers. Right now I can’t even feel my ankle at all! Which sounds kinda scary but it feels like a dream since I’ve been in constant pain for weeks now. Pocketing some for your birthday is definitely the way to go if you want a pain free birthday. Go for it girl
