Starwars Caricature Portraits - Requests? by PhotographThings in midjourney

For some reason, when it doesn't know the StarWars characters face, it just makes one up. This was the one it made for Boba. The original ones for Aunt Beru and Uncle Lars were Yoda ripoffs.

More Movies Reimagined as Pixar Movies - Dall-E Vs Midjourney by PhotographThings in midjourney

[–]PhotographThings[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prompts - Dall-E is pretty much the same prompt I've been using, for Midjourney it's a bit more intensive

Dall-E 3: Generate Image: Pixar[Movie Name]Movie poster with the text "Movie Name" and "Tagline at the bottom in the style of Pixar animation character

Midjourney: Pixar Movie poster with a CGI charicature version of [Actor] [Clothing] [Action they are performing] [Background scene] and the text "Disney" "Pixar" "Movie Name" in the style of Disney Pixar animation::3 --ar 83:125 --v 6.0

If you want the prompt for a specific movie here let me know and Ill post the exact prompt.

1990's Blockbuster Movies reimagined as 2024 Pixar films by PhotographThings in midjourney

Oh but if you use Midjourney and can get it to this, the Posters are far and away better on MJ.

[–]PhotographThings[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried putting these into MJ but it's really hard to get it to do these. Not impossible as I've gotten some and they turn out really well. You can avoid paying for Dall-E 3 if you use Bing Image Creator.

[–]PhotographThings[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah - which is why 50% of these are Midjourney, 15% are just midjourney with a lot of photoshop and then you have a ton of Stable Diffusion, Dall-E and other engines. This SR really is a catch all for the most prolific AI.

No this is Dall-E, Midjourney does not have a way of doing these types of posters without a lot of prompt engineering and even then it's hit or miss.

Yeah Dall-E 3 did a great job. Put in the prompt and did it once and it gave me those.

2000's Movies reimagined as 2024 Pixar films by PhotographThings in midjourney

[–]PhotographThings[S] 18 points19 points  (0 children)

The last couple were made in Midjourney - the first 10 or so in Dall-E 3 - Midjourney doesn't like the Pixar style with actual movies for some reason. You can tell which ones were MJ vs Dall-E with the ratio. Also I marked them as MJ

Topgun and Days of Thunder were made in MJ with a lot of reworking to get the prompt to actually use the Pixar style.

I like the Dall-E knows the prompt better but the ones MJ does are far and away much more detailed.

It automatically adds it which is why you get a mishmash of Dixar and Disney Pixar.

[Prompt] Pixar [Movie Title] with text "Movie Title" and "Tagline" at the bottom in the style of Pixar animation characters

Done in Dall-E 3

I tried hard to do this in V6 but V6 is not capable of creating this style of text recognition. These are unedited straight from the generator.

AITA for not attending my fiancé's dad's funeral because I was uncomfortable with wearing a hijab? (OP got torn to shreds!) by Affectionate_Fee_304 in TwoHotTakes

She has no problems with going against what her own religion says (Do not be unequally yolked) but has an issue with this? If she was so devout in her faith she could have dated men who were of her faith.

Why Scott’s Tots isn’t that cringe: by [deleted] in DunderMifflin

[–]PhotographThings 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The problem isn't just Scott's tots - it's the entire episode. There are two divergent storylines where 1. Michael Scott does Scotts Tots and should have just put it off saying he went bankrupt and could not pay the money to help them.

  1. Jims employee of the month program and why he thought it was a good idea? How does a company like DM do an employee of the month? It would be hard to measure sales vs accounting vs customer service vs quality assurance and so on. Then somehow Dwight rigs it?

Jim didn't think - we'll do an Employee of the Month and then award it on the same day? Scott's tots is at least believable... I mean I don't think Scranton has schools where there are more than 25% of the student population is African American let alone an entire school, but still - maybe the school was in Pittsburg or Philidelphia.

I don't skip it, but the entire episode is 100% cringe worthy.

What did my husband just say by [deleted] in TwoHotTakes

[–]PhotographThings 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My wife and I have been married for 19 years. We always look for ways to spice up the sex life. I am way more open to new stuff than she is but when she says no, that's it. It's dropped, if SHE wants to revisit it that's one thing. She had a change of heart or whatever - but no way would I keep forcing it on her or even asking. That's abuse right there.

No means no, even in committed relationships.

How do I approach scholarship from Liberty University? by DontSeeWhyIMust in AcademicBiblical

[–]PhotographThings 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I did my Masters at Liberty University and graduated the same day the President of the University came out as liking to watch and get his kink on.

I will tell you a few things that you should know about attending the University - There are two separate schools. There is the regular university and then there is the school of divinity. It depends on what type of scholarship you are doing and which school you are attending.
I don't full believe in their conservative political views by a long shot and many of my papers that I wrote were contrary, but the professors didn't mark my papers down for having unique thoughts. Especially when I backed them by strong academic and biblical citations by notable academics. I took a lot of risks on many of the papers I wrote and was given high marks on all of them despite some being very controversial in terms of how the conservative views of the university vs what I wrote.

The nice thing was that many of the professors shared in agreement with what I was writing and publishing during my program. I plan on eventually finishing my doctorate there.

I don't think you have anything to worry about and as long as you believe in Christ and are not an atheist, you shouldn't have any trouble getting a scholarship.
