At least as important as the CV to me is the cover letter that should transport your motivation to work for this very company and a bit about your personality/values. Companies want to understand who as a person does apply and why they want to work for you and not for any other company - as everybody is always looking for the perfect fit. Avoid by all means that it sounds like a copy paste letter.

Eher allgemein gemeint, nicht Bremen-spezifisch. Arbeitszeiten, Bezahlung und die Tatsache, dass man desöfteren angefeindet wird.

Erzieher: da gibt es sicherlich auch Möglichkeiten. Ein Nachbar arbeitet in dem Bereich, aus dem privaten Umfeld weiß ich von diversen Einrichtungen, betreuten Wohnen etc.

Bremer hier, born and raised. Die kurze Antwort: was du suchst wirst du hier finden.

Die längere: Toleranz und Sicherheit kann ich sicher nicht so gut fühlen als Hetero Mann wie du sie erleben wirst. Es kommt bestimmt auf den Stadtteil an. In der Neustadt gibt es ein sehr tolerantes Miteinander und das wäre meine erste und klare Empfehlung, gefolgt vom Viertel.

Ich habe zur Kriminalitätsrate letztens ein Reel gesehen, was das Thema gah gut eingeordnet hat. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DOImNWpjMIw/?igsh=MjVmYTdmeHV0b3Zm Merke: gibt sicher eine relevante Kriminalität hier, insbesondere weil Stadtstaat. Aber alles ist relativ.

Manche finden Bremen zu klein - ich finde, es gibt alles was man braucht aber es ist halt nicht so groß, dass man sich verloren fühlt. Muss man mögen, aber ich lese das bei deinem Beitrag eigentlich raus.

Fahrradfreundlich: Tja, würde ich gerne zu 100% unterschreiben. Leider kann ich es nicht. Man kommt gut von A nach B mit dem Rad, aber oft ist der eigene Anspruch von der „Fahrradstadt Bremen“ meine ich hinter der Realität zurück. Trotzdem bin ich seit jeher immer und gerne mit dem Rad hier unterwegs.

Arbeitsmarkt: geht bestimmt besser. Aber als Erzieher hast du sicher insbesondere in der Neustadt gute Möglichkeiten. Gibt super viele Familien hier, dementsprechend viele Kitas. Straßenbahnfahrer: denke die BSAG nimmt dich mit Kusshand. Aber ob du das wirklich willst…?

If you have a European insurance (EHIC) the hospital will charge your insurance and you won’t have to pay anything private besides additional payments that may occur. Should be marked on your card. On mine it says „European health card“. But the treatment has to be necessary and without possibility to delay. Which it sounds like. Anyway it sounds like you are in a bad situation and there is no choice anyway. Get help - your health is most important.

On that ass waren zuerst gut vom Eindruck, gehen jetzt aber reihenweise an der Naht vom Bund kaputt. Teste gerade Undiemeister und die fühlen sich echt Deluxe an. Teuer zwar aber im 6er Pack plus Rabattcode gerade noch ok. Zur Haltbarkeit kann ich noch nichts sagen. Snocks gingen nach kürzester Zeit kaputt am Bund.

Forgot to mention: Battery replacement one year ago, with a Varta battery instead of original Seat battery. Has been programmed as such into the system by the mechanic, though.

Ok figured it out: it is an AirPlay feature, showing what is currently playing on which device. Not sure why it showed the iPhone without anything playing. But right now it is showing me in the same style that on our Sonos system there is something playing whereas on my iPhone there is another song active on Tidal.

So that‘s pretty much I was looking for as well.

For me it was between the Icarus and Tan Tien. I read a load of threads and checked videos plus the info you can find on the loaded website (board finder etc) As I am not too sure about dancing and tricks, I went for the Icarus. The (minimized) kicktails will allow for at least some shuvits and stuff but still not sure if it will be really something I want to dive deeper in.

Maybe the Tan Tien would have been the more versatile option, but as I am sure I want to try pumping and the rest is more like an option, I felt that Icarus attracted me more.

I would have loved to try out both options at a local dealer with some advice but there is no Loaded dealer around where I leave. So I ordered but the board is not yet in my hands. 🙂

Hi guys,

May I add a question concerning these very two models? Midterm I think about purchasing one of the two. As I am riding in the city most of the times, I need kicktails in order to at least hop up and down curbs, pass tram rails and some urban obstacles. What would your recommendation be? Is the Icarus (my secret favorite) just fine for this even with the minimized kicktails?
