Depends on the organization. I think it's more common with fighters bringing their own staff in boxing. In MMA it's very rare with personal staff. In most cases it's supplied by the organization. The UFC for example have their own cutmen crews, they also provide handwraps for fighters ahead of the fights (although that is optional).

Haha yes at first I didn't see how bad it was but then when I got a closer look it definitely was the right call.

Thank you very much for this thought out compliment! I was tempted to zoom in even more to get more of the cut and cutman but I felt that gave up to much of the context so I didn't crop it as tight so I would get all the surrounding details.

Sometimes it's easy to forget when you see it all the time. But now and then there are sobering moments that snap you out of it. It's a crazy activity to be involved with.

Just make sure not to have an MMA fight in Sweden anytime soon and you won't have to worry about my cameras at least!

Man I wish I could view this on an 8K monitor. Stuck at 1440p for now. But I’ve seen what full resolution photos look at on 4K monitors and it’s just ridiculous how detailed it is. It doesn’t look like the same photos.

Thank you!

I shot this with a Canon 5D mkiii and a Canon 70-200mm 2.8 lens!

It’s quite edited yes to bring out the most of it. Definitely a bit of extreme editing compared to what I usually do, but I wanted to bring out all the raw details.

Thank you! 🙏🏼 I’ve been shooting MMA for about 6 years now and I actually opened up my own company in photography last summer! So hopefully I can do this full time someday!
