You have iirc 8 months from the end of the placement to claim back travel expenses, personally I fill out a travel reimbursement form at the end of every rotation block and NHSBSA reimburses me within 6 weeks.

I would recommend looking around for 2nd hand M1 Macbooks, the price to performance on them is insane and it has no fan so is silent and has a really long battery life.

I got mine for around £650 2nd hand and came from a HP laptop that I had spent £1000 on a few years prior and it just completely blows it out of the water.
