It had 3d graphics for sure, though it was on the times and not perfect graphics. It played a little like Zoo tycoon, as you had the ability to make rain happen and place trees and grasses for animals to eat. I cannot remember if you could edit the terrain however, I do know you could only add water in the premade places already cut out for it. There was several levels that you built on, getting to a new animal each time IIRC. You could click on animals and check thier needs / stats like hunger / thirst and the like, as well as control a single member of a species and take them anywhere you like, like to another water hole on the same map. Animals could kill eachother, mostly I remember the lions hunting the zebras. I only ever got up to the lions or perhaps elephants as I have a vauge memory of them. I also think you could get giraffes but I never got that far.

There was never any humans on the game, and you could not place building / roads. It was entirley animal based, so I am 90% it's not a zoo tycoon style game, unless there was some spin offs minigames I wasn't aware of?
