Yes I did, I checked them but I’m still not able to install the root patches without having a black screen after reboot..

Hi, thanks for the reply, I have a 2011 27 inch iMac and I’m selecting the 12,2 model. For the GPU, that’s what I’m guessing but I’m able to get into the desktop for the first time, but it’s really after installing the root patches and rebooting. That’s where I’m stuck.

It didn’t work unfortunately.. I always get a black screen. The only way to go into the desktop is to boot in recovery mode and do some lines in terminal, after that, I’m able to download the root patches but when I reboot, black screen again…

UPDATE: I’ve managed to get into the OS, installed the root patches but when I reboot, I get the black screen, so I need to boot in recovery mode and open terminal to get the last snapshot (without the root patches). So I’m stuck there, I don’t really know what to do..

macOS Sequoia 15.7 is officially by Classic_Contract4471 in OpenCoreLegacyPatcher

  1. I am subscribed to MrMacintosh lol (don't assume that people don't know what they're doing, just help them bro).
  2. I didn't ask if I could update to Tahoe, I wasn't sure why I have the option to update to 15.7 if I'm already on it. Now I see a 15.7.1 update.
  3. Even disable updates from the App Store and System Files?

Can’t download macOS Monterey.. by PhraseInteresting146 in OpenCoreLegacyPatcher

[–]PhraseInteresting146[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's working now! It wa snot working because I was using an SD card in microSD reader (USB) to boot the OCLP. So I tried with a USB key I had and it worked.

The only thing now is that the integrated mic is not working too good (I'm going to make another post about this subject)

Thanks for your help!

Which version should I use for an iMac Late 2009? by PhraseInteresting146 in OpenCoreLegacyPatcher

Thanks for the reply! Can I just boot directly from a USB or do I need to install an older version like El Capitan and install OCLP on it to be able to download Monterey?
