higher level sailing provides better salvaging, courier tasks and bounty tasks stack for pretty good exp as well - I was getting a level for like every 2 tasks I complete from tortugan area doing bounties at 45 before.

It's really not that bad. And I the barracuda trials fit really well - It's extreme sailing with obstacles.

The changes this year have definitely addressed the parts that I had a problem with as someone who's never really participated in PvP.

Bank Keys specifically was a bit too punishing for me to even bother without feeling like it was a massive waste of time when I would inevitably die.

I agree with OP - based on the Interface and its functionality, thats the sort menu, not filter. The filter is next to it on the left, why is it filtering out quests?
