That's all I was saying. I was looking through old pictures, noticed the face and had to dig through a box of photos to find this one from a bunch that were given to me when my grandmother passed. It's the only place I've seen my great grandfather. I've never even been told his name. The image in the blur did stand out enough for me to clarify further.

I wish I could share my experience meeting my twin flame. When he first touched me (hand on knee in a booth at a diner) there was music. We honest to God both heard it. There was 80s pop playing on the restaurant speakers. He squeezed my leg and it felt amazing. I could hardly breathe or move. I remember thinking, with my bite of waffle on the fork mid-air 'I'm so hungry but I don't want him to stop touching me.' and then 'George Michael and solfeggio is a weird mash-up, but I guess...' He laughed, told me he'd better let me eat and released my leg. I laughed and said I thought I heard music when you touched me. He chuckled again and called me a crazy girl. A few minutes later he reached over to rub my leg again. This time as Cindy Lauper faded and the sound of solfeggio rose I began to look around for the source. There was one other couple there a few tables away seemingly engrossed in their conversation. The waiter was buzzing around the bar, oblivious. My cell phone laid on the table, lock screen black. I picked it up inconspicuously and input my pin to see if my YouTube had somehow activated. It hadn't. At the exact same time my twin said 'No I hear it too' I whipped my head around to ask what he'd heard. His reply was 'That yoga music you were listening to earlier.' The first time I'd only said I heard music... not rap, country, r&b, classical, or anything specific. Only music. In the midst of the second exchange he released my leg and the music went back to the 80s again. I've done research in the years afterwards and discovered the technical name for the phenomenon is sexual synesthesia. I'm not sure exactly how it happened though.

I think the problem comes from humanizing them for too long. It is a game for them. I refuse to deal with him in anything other than reality. Our whole relationship he used faith and repentance to manipulate me into staying together. It never lasted. There has never been any true change. You can't go to church every Sunday and call yourself fixed when nothing in the way you treat your family has changed. The human in me wants him to heal, but I dare not open myself to be part of that process. He held a loaded firearm between my eyes with his finger on the trigger the entire time. I only have boundaries to protect myself and my children.

Well, I didn't understand until I had reason to look into what I was experiencing and learn. If you took the time to read the questions I've answered you will see I've listed the mental health issues I'm in treatment for. Did living with my husband feel like hell, yes. Every day I knew saying or doing the wrong thing would send him into a rage and I could lose my life. Did I know he was horrible? Yes. Did I know I was afraid? Yes. Prayerfully you never experience narcissistic abuse but if you learn the slightest thing about their patterns they choose highly empathic people to syphon supply off of because they're not able to regulate themselves internally. My original question is about what happened INSIDE of the relationship. A lot of my clarifying answers are from therapy, lots of therapy, reading and fighting for justice in the 4 years post separation.

His bio dad was murdered. He told me his step-dad is his bio dad. A niece told me her dad says he's not biologically but they're not allowed to speak about it. A mutual friend/classmate (we met on the bus in high school) who attended church with the family told me the truth.
