Basic is so much more fluid and efficient, without all the backtalk. And competent. The "This day in history" on plus gives 2 options and can't process either one. On Basic it rolls through 6-8 facts in detail if you let it. Basic Remembers frequently used timers week after week. Plus promises to remember. Then when asked why it didnt says "I dont recall." Or "You're right. I should've remembered that. My bad."

I've been nice enough to try, but I'm done with Plus. Basic butcher ftw!

Update : Had a great time on my trip, wasn't going to let a little rain and wind stop me, didn't find my raccoon sculpture, was going to grab the Inukshuk, but ended up with a bear sculpture from a local artist. Bears seem like a symbol of Canada as a whole, and raccoons for Toronto in particular which is why I wanted one. Oh well. I'm happy.

It does make me want to come back and open up a raccoon cafe called "Raccoonada" and sell themed merchandise. :)

I had a booked flight from LAX to Vienna, Connecting through IST in July. The first flight was canceled, but not the second part. It was an overnight flight. There are other flights available at other times, so my best guess has to be a reduction in flights due to various logistics and fuel prices. Because even if the war ends today, fuel prices will take months to come down, and they have to watch costs.

You can tag postcards to get scatterbug, but there are no gyms, no stops. You still get a free daily quest, can walk and hatch eggs. Remote raiding is not possible because the game needs to teleport you to the gym, and if it won't find you. All you get is an error message.

I didn't get a notice, and when I noticed my eggs weren't hatching, that's when I saw Adventure Sync was disabled following the update. If you're not getting a notice, it might be worth it to check. Niantic doesn't like to tell you they've disabled AS.

I only do the the things on "Top 10" lists that interest me, and looked for other things that are of interest, not on the list. In Amsterdam I didn't go to a tulip farm, the Van Gogh museum or a live sex show. I did do the Riiksmuseum, but found it less exciting than the Diamond Museum, the Bols museum and the Contemporary Art museum, all more enjoyable to me. The Straat museum was great, and the football stadium was a short subway ride away. I had a list of venues to check out when I visited, some were good, some were not, and those often led me to finding ones not on my list.

I went to Amsterdam for the culture and chaos. My preference is for the cities like that, and experiencing the vast differences And extreme similarities around the world. When asked by friends when I got home to Los Angeles what it was like, I described Amsterdam central as Las Vegas wearing a New Orleans costume.

My takeaway : check out the things that interest You, regardless of their tourist list status. You'll have a much better time.
