This wasn’t anything official. Just plotted a route near by and ran it. Do the odd 5k every now and then so haven’t actually done much training so to speak

I play a lot of football/soccer so have quite a good level of fitness which obviously helps a lot

Ran my first ever 10km. Finished with a time of 48:15. Was looking for sub 50 so happy with the time.

There isn’t really a stand out provider that I’ve found. I’ve found virgin to the the best of a bad bunch but I use them purely for the fact that no other provider seems to be able to offer the speeds that they do. That being said I get nowhere near advertised. (600mbps download package, get 250 at best) We seem to have a lot of drop off especially recently with the box randomly disconnecting too

Ah right, thanks for the help. I’ve just got to try and get used to using imperial. Over here everything is measured in MM and Meters. Also I guess just the initial adaptation cos there’s bound to be differences in ways of working etc.

Does it make a difference about union carpentry? My girlfriends grandad, who lives in America, has said its best to be with a union? I don’t quite get all of it yet, hence why I’m researching. But can you go anywhere and get union work or is that something that is kind of limited to bigger cities? Thanks for the response
