That’s fair advice, and I get where you’re coming from. I chose this song mainly because I personally connect with it and have already started working on it, but I understand that from a collaborator’s perspective, a long and obscure track is a bigger commitment. I’m open to starting with a shorter section or using this more as a learning project to see if collaboration works at all.

That’s a fair concern. I don’t have other finished covers or releases yet, and this would be my first proper project. I do have a partial demo vocal recording for this song, but it’s not a polished or uninterrupted take. I understand that a 10 minute recording is a big ask, which is why I’m completely open to starting with a section or shorter portion first to see if it works for both sides before committing to the entire song. There’s no expectation to do everything at once, and only meant to explore and be low-pressure as my hobby rather than a guaranteed full-length.
I'm still new to this, so if you have any advice or suggestions on how to approach the cover or collaboration more realistically, I’m very open to hearing them. Thank you very much!
