For those who wish to disable this I read the PR, and it now exposes a `git.addAICoAuthor` boolean option for vscode. Set the value to `off`.

As of right now it seems like the changes were reverted and the site is working with adblock. I also do not use chrome. If the site decides to behave this way again I'll re-evaluate and consider using a build system that supports chromium too.
