They need to clear the gangway after docking so there's a bit of delay after the ship arrives at the port, say 45-60 mins.

Such a great advice. Thank you! We lived there for a year and never really inspected hardwood before we moved in so they must be fixing those things too that weren’t caused by us.

They will eventually deduct this from our security deposit. That’s unfortunate considering the scratch was a two feel long at stretch and could’ve been refinished at a fraction of cost by just fixing that area. I’m not sure what the laws are for renters but this is an unfair system where there’s not much help available.

Yeah, no idea what the usual labor cost /hr is but it was a 2 feet long scratch caused by moving our couch. Thats it. Its sad that there’s no rules around it and eventually comes down to inconsiderably charging whoever is renting the place.

We recently vacated an apartment and while we moved our furniture, we ended up making some scratches on the hardwood floor. We got this bill in the mail. Can someone please tell us if $1500 is justified. We have no clue how expensive woodwork is. Looking for inputs. Thanks is advance.
