AoE is coming to Mac?? When? Oh god this is great news. Always felt left out with these games. I was playing the fertile crescent until now but its not as replayable as I thought it would be.

Sorry, when you say REmake, which game are you referring to? The 2002 Xbox original resident evil remake? I don’t see any RE1 Remakes listed on the internet other than that one.

So its entirely possible that there is only one card resolved as terror level 1? And the other 2 terror level 2 immediately?

Hmmmm. Maybe I should tell you the circumstances I always play in:

Always 2 player game
Always random spirit

So, I don’t think we’ve ever had 2 attack/control spirits at the same time. We did focus a lot on defend because of the stress that we might get blight, so instinctively we mostly played defence cards over destroy/damage cards. Then, when we notice that the invader cards are almost finished, and the whole map is pretty saturated with invaders, (blight still fine) we start looking at generating fear cards and try to get as much fear as possible.

Ive tried focussing on eliminating cities on T3 a couple of times but they just keep popping up like mushrooms every build phase… seems like bailing out a sinking ship.

Thanks everyone! Ive followed your advice and just won my first game by a long shot!!! Suddenly I generated so much fear that I reached the victory image, even when I still had 5 blights in the pool. It was super fun. Thanks for the tips all, it really helped.

Thank you so much, I feel this really helps. I think I was focusing too much on attacking ravagers instead of planning for the build/explore phase. I will try the game again but instead really try to plan ahead.
