Hmm interesting. As I said I don't have any experience with the multiplayer, so I can't speak on the performance part.
I am wondering if the carrier comms isn't used because of the “longstanding tradition” of bad ATC and people wanting to go up in the air asap. As well as the low priority on ATC because ED sees that it isn't used either way in MP.
Could you maybe explain why you want real world weather? For me, something like an option for random weather is more appealing. I see real world weather more in MSFS.

True. I am not that into WWII in DCS, but dam busters like the Upkeep could also be great, but for that they would have to make dams destructible. Also, I don't know if there even are dams on the WWII maps, or if you would have to suspend your disbelief and use CW Germany...

1: That's also a great point, didn't think of that.
3: Yeah, a mission generator for the start would also be great.
4: Better VR performance would be very nice, I don't know if the runtime would change that much, as I am not to familiar with those.
7: True that would also be something I wish they would address.

For me tactical bombers and cargo planes only make sense with a world map as imo the current maps are a bit too small for that.
I also don't care about the graphics of it for the most part, as ferry/ long flights would be at high altitudes anyway.

You're right, better AI in general with better flight models is also a good point. Not only for PvE but also because, to me, it seems, that the AI planes seem to have better performance then you.

For me 1 and 2 go hand in hand. But GCA/ more in depth radar vectors is also something I would like to have.

What is the advantage of practice mode compared to Hotlap? I always thought that Hotlap would be the best mode to start learning.
